Jenn works at AGL as a communications coach and facilitator, specialised in the design and delivery of training programmes, for both individuals and groups, in the financial, consumer, professional services and creative industries. She is particularly interested in the way our beliefs, values and mindset inform our communication in the workplace, especially when we’re under pressure.
Her passion for adult learning has defined her career. Before joining AGL, seven years ago, she spent five years in learning and development at Christie’s, the international art business. During this time, she completed an MSC in Human and Organisational Development, at London University’s Birkbeck College, and wrote a thesis on the role communication plays in helping employees learn complex skills on the job.
She grew up between northern Italy and the West Midlands and has always been fascinated by the relationship between language and belonging. This led her to take an undergraduate degree in Italian and Spanish at Cambridge University, and then to study Linguistics on the University of Chicago’s Master of Arts Programme.
