“Anyone can be a good public speaker,” says Milly. “Stage fright need not be terminal.”
Milly is a voice and dialect coach who, through vocal techniques, breathing exercises and a close focus on language or, if there is one, the written text, helps people speak not simply with confidence but also with impact and panache.
She has worked with a broad range of companies, including British Airways, GlaxoSmithKline, Barclays Bank and Prêt à Manger; and with organisations such as the Prison Service, The Law Society and the V&A. Beyond the corporate world, she has regularly worked with individual actors, notably Michael Gambon, Robert Downey Junior and Helen Mirren; and on film and television productions, for example Wolf Hall (BBC), The Viceroy House (HBO) and The Crown (Netflix).
