Janhoi is an investigative reporter who has broken stories on next-generation technology, misinformation and scams for the last eleven years. He has featured in The Guardian, Forbes, Evening Standard, New Scientist, The Independent, BBC Radio and many other technology and gaming publications – alongside several TV and radio appearances as an expert. His hit Audible original podcast, The Squid Scam launched in January 2023 to rave reviews in The Guardian, The Sunday Times, The Independent and Stylist magazine.
In 2015 Janhoi launched an investigative journalism startup called Point, which amassed millions of views in the four years it was operating. Point’s investigations have been written up in Forbes and The Times. With 600,000 YouTube subscribers, 10,000 Facebook followers and an official partnership with Engadget (an Oath Media run publication, which also owns the Huffington Post), Point was an authority on disinformation and online manipulation.
Janhoi has chased down major scammers in Hong Kong, taken on the Tobacco industry and broken stories on the latest technology that shapes our lives every day.
