These are the terms and conditions which apply to AGL Communications workshops and forms an agreement between you and us. We will not file a copy of our agreement with you. These terms and conditions are available in the English language only.
By booking a place on the workshop you accept these terms and conditions. You should read them carefully before making a booking. We recommend you save a copy of them for your future reference.
LATENESS: Our workshops are packed with as much information as we can possibly fit into them, so starting on time is crucial. As a result, it is essential you arrive promptly for your workshop.
If you are late, please be aware that the workshop may have started. A refund will not be provided in this instance.
PAYMENT: All payment must be made in full at the time of booking. We do not take provisional bookings and cannot confirm your place on a workshop until we receive full payment.
ACCEPTABLE USAGE OF WORKSHOP CONTENT: Slides and other materials are provided to support attendees in their ongoing development and are issued for personal use only. The sharing of workshop materials by print, press, photocopy, email, blogs, internet, or any digital transfer medium is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of AGL Communication. If in doubt, please ask about what is and isn’t acceptable usage.
CANCELLATIONS: To request a cancellation, you must provide AGL Communication with written notice via email to
[email protected]. Unless you have received acknowledgement from us that we have received your request, you cannot consider your request delivered. You may only terminate the contract in the circumstances set out below:
WORKSHOP CANCELLATIONS MORE THAN 14 DAYS FROM OF THE START OF YOUR WORKSHOP: You may request a change of workshop date up to 14 days before the start of the workshop and we will happily transfer you to another workshop date, subject to availability, without cost. You may also request a refund up to 14 days before the start of the workshop you have booked.
WORKSHOP CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THE START OF YOUR WORKSHOP: Most bookings for workshops with AGL Communication are made months in advance. It is therefore often hard for us to resell any places within 14 days of the start of the workshop, and any cancellations within this time can result in lost revenue that affect the ability of AGL Communication to deliver our workshops.
If you wish to reschedule your workshop date within 14 days of the start date, we will accommodate you, however a processing fee of £15 will be charged.
If you wish to cancel your booking within 14 days of your workshop, you will forfeit your workshop payment. If we are able to resell your place, we will reimburse you with your workshop fee minus a processing fee of £15; however, if we are unable to resell your place, you will not be reimbursed.
If you test positive for Covid-19 within 14 days of the workshop start, you will be offered alternative dates to attend the workshop.
If a person that is booked on a workshop fails to attend for any reason, they will not be entitled to a refund or a rebooking of another workshop.
CANCELLATIONS BY AGL COMMUNICATION:
AGL Communication is entitled to cancel any workshop at any time subject to the repayment of any fees received in respect of the workshop or the part of the workshop which has been cancelled.
In the event of COVID-19 restrictions causing the cancellation of the workshop, attendees will be refunded in full unless they wish to reserve their space for a future workshop.
In the unlikely event of cancellation of a workshop by ourselves, we undertake to offer a suitable transfer to an alternative date, or a full refund (within 14 days) of the workshop fee.
We cannot be held liable for any third-party costs, such as travel bookings or accommodation with hotels other than our own.
REFUNDS: Our workshops take place on specific dates, therefore once a purchase is complete we will not be able to refund you where you do not attend or if you cancel your workshop booking. This is because we will have reserved and set aside a specific place for you at the workshop which we will not be able to fill or resell.
Please make sure you will definitely be able to travel to the class before you book.
All refunds are made to the source of the initial payment, i.e. fees paid by a credit card can only be refunded to the same card. We do not store credit card details, nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
GENERAL: These terms and conditions are a contract between you and us. No other person shall have any right to enforce any of the terms.
Each of the paragraphs of these terms and conditions operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
We may revise our terms and conditions from time to time, for example to reflect changes in relevant laws or regulatory requirements or improvements we make to the AGL Communication workshops & events and related services.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties agree that the English courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction in relation to this agreement. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
